We are more than what we do for a living. Jesus was a carpenter, but yet so much much more. Don’t let your job define you. Lord give me the wisdom to know that there is more to me than what meets the eye.

Today let’s make a promise, we will not allow our faults,mistakes, people or obstacles to make us feel that we don’t deserve God’s Love. Remember God love’s us in-spite of our faults and shortcomings. We deserve to be loved. Some people say I would love you more if you changed this or changed that, find comfort knowing that God loves you exactly the way you are!!!. Lord give us the wisdom to know that nothing should separate us from you love, even ourselves. (Romans 8:35-39)

When children speak, listen. They freely share the joys of life that we are often too preoccupied to remember. Lord, help me bring back those qualities that I had as a child that would allow me to be more lighthearted, more playful and more determined to live happy.

If today’s burden is too heavy, it may be because you have added on yesterday’s problems or the fears of tomorrow’s problems. Lord, help me to keep my focus and not take on that which is impossible to do anything about anyway.
